UFOs

...or unfinished objects. Sigh. My next post will be an inventory of those! Between things worn once and needing adjustments, or items started for myself in the down time between shows that never came to fruition, there is probably quite the To Do list of projects lined up for me this summer.

Trying to establish a habit of regular sewing (by forcing myself into regular blogging), is already tiring. A big day at work and dinner with friends meant getting home late. But with a couple episodes of Bomb Girls to keep me occupied (that is a whole post itself!), I finished the dress for SiL with hand-picked zipper, and then pushed myself into finishing a very lazy UFO.

These are super comfy pajama pants made from some adorable baby fleece I had been holding onto for ages. I cut them out and did most of the build over my sewing holiday in NYC (aka visiting my family for Thanksgiving). As I worked on three big projects while there, these landed in the 99% done pile and then were abandoned for four shows I was designing. And all I needed to do was put in the buttonholes for the waist tie, and sew down the waistband! I know, so lazy. But mission now accomplished.
